ZAGG, a USA based mobile accessory company, recently launch in India in partnership with Brilyant, an IT and consumer electronics distribution company.
In an interaction with Mobility magazine Chris Ahern Managing Director, ZAGG International share their India plan.

India presence
ZAGG products are sold in India through its Exclusive distributor M/s Brilyant. ZAGG products can be purchased at leading retailers like Croma, Apple Premium retailers, etc. as well as through online marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal. A few products are also sold through the Indigo In-flight catalogue.
Product Portfolio:
ZAGG has launched products under each of its brands (ZAGG, InvisibleShield and iFrogz) here in India. The products launched thus far span 4 broad categories – Keyboards and cases, Audio, and Screen Protection. A total of 250 products have been launched thus far, with more coming soon.

You take on accessories segment in India? What are the challenges and opportunities?
This is a very exciting segment; we estimate the market size at about $1 Bn per year, and growing in double digits. There is a proliferation of brands and products are sold at all price points, and at varying quality levels. At ZAGG, we focus on delivering the highest quality products to our customers at reasonable prices. While ZAGG is a well-known brand in the US, it is a new entrant into the Asia market. We will have to work to establish our brand in this market.
